I live in Forest Row and first exhibited with Ashdown Arts in 2010.

I am mainly self-taught, but influenced by the work of the many artists I have worked alongside or experienced at exhibitions. With many thousands of photographs and an addiction to art-shops (I cannot visit one without adding to my stock of artist materials), I have an unwritten list of projects I intend to complete and my work is continually progressing in these differing directions. Each completed project setting in train others. I can live with a project for months or years before starting. My signature painting ‘Choices’ (View on my web-site) includes many of these projects including some since completed.

A common theme in my work is the interaction of colours. To achieve the effects I want, I prefer to let colours blend on the canvas. To add depth to pictures, I use many layers.
