Helen is a London Irish artist whose training at Goldsmith’s art college and love of art has influenced her in her professional field of systemic therapy, where she worked for many years within an NHS therapy team with children and families. Continuing to paint throughout her life Helen has exhibited in different locations. The landscapes of Ireland’s West coast, Britain’s coastline and Ashdown forest offers Helen a treasure trove of richness in colour and form, and the raw natural beauty brings an urgency to Helen’s painting process – an ‘intake of breath’ as she encounters the awe of unfolding energy and drama, the ever-changing play of light over mountains, the infinite range of colour it casts over hills, mountains, sea, forests, flora & natural shapes.

Primarily painting on canvas with oils & acrylic, she also up-cycles other materials and surfaces painting on furniture wood & board panels, creating many different effects.
