I originally studied cartography and surveying and produced the UK air charts for the CAA.

I moved to Sussex during a career break and while caring for my three children and then worked in the library at the Queen Victoria Hospital.

I've always loved art and painting, my favourite subject at school but since then have had little time as other things have always taken priority.

Since retirement in 2023 there's still not much spare time but I'm now free to set my own priorities and have really enjoyed taking up a brush again and discovering my own style, getting to know the local art community and getting a few commissions along the way.
