I re kindled my interest in watercolour painting five years ago, after a 35-year gap. Previously, in my early 30’s I attended some art classes but a busy family life meant my brushes remained in their box.

My career was in Engineering, as a draughtsman, requiring precision of line and curve and I always felt that I wanted to balance that with colour and a looser form.

In the past 5 years I have been mostly learning from tutorials online by artists that inspire me, such as Geoff Kersey and a weekly zoom with Artist Tony Burke.

I mainly paint landscapes but enjoy other subjects such as Flowers, Animals and buildings, I also enjoy pen and wash.

Each of my greetings cards is hand painted and could be framed, making them a special gift.

I am fascinated by the medium of watercolour, its challenges and its endless possibilities.
